Job Description

We’re seeking compassionate, patient, and dependable individuals to provide companionship and basic support to seniors during the weekends. As a Weekend Elderly Companion, you’ll bring comfort, conversation, and care to older adults who need a friendly presence and gentle assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spend quality time with elderly clients through conversation, games, or walks

• Assist with light household tasks like tidying up, meal prep, or laundry

• Provide reminders for medications, hydration, or meals (no medical admin)

• Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation

• Communicate any changes in behavior or condition to family or care managers

• Ensure a safe, respectful, and dignified environment at all times

Qualifications:

• Experience in caregiving, elder support, or customer service preferred

• Warm, empathetic, and excellent interpersonal communication

• Ability to follow basic care routines and household tasks

• Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

• Ability to pass a background check and provide references

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
