Warehouse Laborer – Pallet Repair weekend shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am till 6:00 pm

Job Description

Base pay of $14.00 hr plus production. For every pallet repair after 200 you will receive .55 per pallet.

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Laborer specializing in Pallet Repair to join our team. This role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, focusing on repairing and maintaining pallets to ensure safe and efficient material handling. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction, carpentry, and the use of various hand and power tools, along with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing process while developing valuable skills in warehouse operations and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged pallets and assess repair needs using schematics and blueprint reading.
• Disassemble broken pallets using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques such as woodworking, framing, and metal stud framing.
• Repair or replace damaged components including boards, nails, and rebar installation as needed.
• Operate fabrication equipment for custom pallet repairs or modifications.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and industry specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction estimating, carpentry (including trim carpentry, framing, roofing, cabinetry), or manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, and power tools.
• Familiarity with schematics and fixture installation enhances candidate suitability.
• Previous roles involving heavy lifting or working with various fabrication processes are beneficial. This position is ideal for individuals with handyman experience or those looking to expand their skills across multiple trades within a manufacturing setting. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks, and the ability to follow detailed instructions for pallet repair projects.

Pay: $650.00 – $900.00 per week
